About Life Makers Foundation

Life Makers Foundation (LMF) is an Egyptian youth-led, voluntary, and non-governmental umbrella organization. It was established in 2011 to foster youth engagement in addressing emerging challenges at the local and global levels. Since its establishment, LMF has worked closely with community-based organizations to build youth capacities and support their efforts to develop their societies and respond to humanitarian needs and disasters. LMF operates in 24 governorates through a nonformal network of partner youth-led organizations and registered offices across Egypt, with a broad portfolio of projects and local initiatives in the sectors of Health, Education, Livelihoods, Humanitarian Assistance, Environment, and Youth Participation.

LMF adopts the core principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence in its operations to ensure the provision of assistance with no discrimination towards differences in ethnicity, religion, race, or any other consideration. LMF provides development and humanitarian interventions for the most vulnerable while preserving their dignity and ensuring their participation.

Job Purpose 

Life Makers Foundation is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support the organization's data-driven initiatives, working closely with different departments to ensure data accuracy, generate insights, and enhance decision-making processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with entry-level experience who are eager to grow their analytical skills in a nonprofit environment.


Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources, including Excel, Google Sheets, Kobo Toolbox, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Odoo (PostgreSQL).

·       Create and maintain visual reports and dashboards using Power BI and Power Query to support various programs and operations.

·       Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

·       Collaborate with program teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.

·       Generate periodic reports to measure the performance of projects and programs.

·       Document and update processes for data management and analytics.

·       Support data entry, validation, and quality assurance tasks to maintain clean datasets.

Qualifications

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, data entry, or a related field (internships or volunteer work included).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of data cleaning techniques using Python.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

      • Previous experience (volunteer or professional) with nonprofit organizations (NGOs).
      • Familiarity with data collection tools like Kobo Toolbox.
      • Basic understanding of data cleaning techniques using Python.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
