About Life Makers Foundation
Life Makers Foundation (LMF) is an Egyptian youth-led, voluntary, and non-governmental umbrella organization. It was established in 2011 to foster youth engagement in addressing emerging challenges at the local and global levels. Since its establishment, LMF has worked closely with community-based organizations to build youth capacities and support their efforts to develop their societies and respond to humanitarian needs and disasters. The position plays a key role in monitoring implementation and ensuring smooth workflow and coordination among teams.
The internship role goes beyond providing operational support, offering a genuine opportunity for professional learning and growth. The intern will gain hands-on experience in institutional communications within a non-profit organization, develop a solid understanding of internal coordination mechanisms and workflow management across teams, and become familiar with procurement cycles and institutional financial procedures. The program also supports the development of professional reporting and follow-up skills, while strengthening time management, accountability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with field teams to collect the required materials (photos, reports, success stories, data, etc.).
- Track and ensure the timely submission of project deliverables, making sure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate between the Communications team and project teams to ensure clarity of needs and alignment on timelines.
- Ensure adherence to the Branding Guidelines across all materials.
- Update and maintain shared tracking sheets and timelines.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic internal progress reports.
- Manage and update the Advance Tracking Sheet.
- Collect, organize, and archive financial receipts and supporting documents.
- Monitor deadlines for financial settlements and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and draft purchase requests when needed.
- Coordinate with Finance and Procurement officers to follow up on approval and implementation procedures.
- Track delivery timelines and ensure receipt of purchased items.
- Support the team in daily administrative tasks.
- Assist in organizing the logistical aspects of major events and campaigns.
- Attend events when needed to provide on-site and organizational support.
- Act as a liaison between the Communications team and other departments to follow up on ongoing requests.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and organizational documents.
- Assist in preparing and drafting content (posts, brief reports, internal content drafts).
- Support the planning and implementation of communication campaigns.
- Organize and archive communication materials.

- Years of experience: A final-year university student or a recent graduate.
- Experience: The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-up, with the ability to handle field tasks when needed. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. An interest in communications and community work will be considered an added advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications / Excel and PowerPoint.
