Background

Life Makers Foundation is an Egyptian registered National youth-led, voluntary and non-governmental organization (Reg. Number 839). Since its establishment in 2011, LMF worked on youth development to build their capacities to develop societies and respond to humanitarian needs and disasters. It works directly and together along with partner organizations in 24 Egyptian governorates in youth development, education, health, livelihood, food security and basic needs sectors.

LMF adopts the core principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence in its operations to ensure the provision of assistance with no discrimination towards difference in ethnicity, religion, race or any other consideration. LMF provides development and humanitarian interventions for the most vulnerable while preserving their dignity and ensuring their participation.

Life Makers is a voluntary non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-partisan movement that was launched in 2003 for mobilizing the best of the human spirit to alleviate human suffering and to protect human life and human rights


About the project 

LMF is the local reintegration partner of EURP, through which, LMF provides the eligible returnees from all European countries with multiple services to support their reintegration in their home country Egypt. The services are delivered in-kind (unless otherwise stated) and can vary depending on where the returnees are coming from, their profiles, and whether they have particular needs.

Monitoring and evaluation visits are conducted for six months after implementation to assess the sustainability of the services and whether the returnees need more support


Responsibilities   : 


- Communicate and schedule meetings with received and potential cases.

- Conduct needs assessment to define required interventions.

- Answer inquiries of applicants regarding grant requirements and process.

- Create feasibility studies for different types of business projects.

- Implement grant activities on field.

- Communicate with vendors to get deals and best prices.

- Administrative responsibilities (updating trackers and documentation of activities (

- Receive financial pledges and make the required settlements.

- Follow up with cases and update cases reports.

- Conduct monitoring and evaluation visits.

- Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

- Degree in any Humanities field is desired.

- One year of experience in previous NGO’s

- Strong organizational skills, ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel.

- Excellent English Skills (spoken and written)

- High computer skills on MS office programs, especially in MS Excel.

- Time management skills and ability to meet the deadlines.

- A demonstrated ability to multi-task.

- A background in writing feasibility studies and business planning is a must.

- A clear understanding of Case Management ethics.

- Ability to travel between governorates.
