About Life Makers Foundation
Life Makers Foundation (LMF) is an Egyptian youth-led, voluntary, and non-governmental umbrella organization. It was established in 2011 to foster youth engagement in addressing emerging challenges at the local and global levels. Since its establishment, LMF has worked closely with community-based organizations to build youth capacities and support their efforts to develop their societies and respond to humanitarian needs and disasters. LMF operates in 24 governorates through a nonformal network of partner youth-led organizations and registered offices across Egypt, with a broad portfolio of projects and local initiatives in the sectors of Health, Education, Livelihoods, Humanitarian Assistance, Environment, and Youth Participation.

SIC is a program that aims to equip Egyptian youth with knowledge, skills, and tools aligned with the fourth industrial revolution. It focuses on courses (Programming – Inter of Things – Big Data – Artificial Intelligence) to support young calibers in investing in their interest in programming and technology. The SIC curriculum is a 240-hour training program on basic programming and robotics concepts.
Job Purpose
The Project manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the project’s activities to ensure the successful realization of the project’s outcomes and objectives. S/he will work closely with the relevant stakeholders to coordinate all preparatory activities, including recruiting consultants, instructors, and facilitators; closely monitor and guide the modification of the course structure for online activities; recruit young people, including designing application forms and assessment tools; and coordinate all events and activities.
Within the scope of his/her mandate, the project manager will oversee the project team's progress, ensure efficient management of the consultants, and provide mentoring and technical support to the involved youth. S/he should maintain effective communication with key actors, including but not limited to donor representatives, selected youth, and potential and current partners, and coordinate with assigned consultants, service providers, and relevant support functions in Life Makers Foundation to ensure smooth implementation as aligned with the project’s scope and timeline.
Job Key Accountability Areas
Program Support
§ In close coordination with the line manager, manage the design and implementation of the project as aligned with the project’s overall objective.
§ Oversee the successful implementation of the project’s activities, ensuring timely delivery within the agreed timescale, M&E plan, and budget.
§ Provide technical support for the consultants and beneficiaries, including facilitation of meetings, training, and one-to-one mentoring sessions
§ Attend and monitor all online events to ensure a smooth and effective implementation process
§ Undertake field visits as required.
§ Supervise quality implementation of all services and consultancies delivered by third parties
§ Conclude participatory assessments, focus groups, and surveys contributing to project planning and M&E processes.
§ Ensure that all files, information, and databases are documented and easy to access in accordance with LMF standards.
§ Ensure effective participation and engagement of the beneficiaries across the online platform
§ Prepare system reports of engagement and attendance.
§ Effectively monitor and validate expenses in accordance with budget lines
§ Ensure regular, high-quality reporting of the project’s progress, both technical and financial, and contribute to the department's regular and on-demand situational reports.
Capacity Building
§ Identify other learning and training opportunities for the beneficiaries
§ Work as a mentor and role model for less experienced staff.
§ Manage and motivate instructors and facilitators to perform highly in their respective roles and responsibilities. This will include leading team structure, recruitment, performance management, and implementing welfare policy.
Partner Management
§ Support the establishment and maintenance of effective and regular working relationships with key stakeholders, including local organizations, relevant government authorities, and relevant actors.
§ Ensure appropriate partners are engaged
§ Support target beneficiaries in establishing communication with relevant actors at the community level (private sectors, service providers, NGOs, and local government partners) to support project-related interventions.

Requirements
§ At least B.Sc. /BA level, preferably with an IT background
§ At least 2 years of experience in managing Education projects
§ Proven experience in working with young people and adolescents
§ Proficient and experienced in planning, monitoring, and reporting project activities
§ Excellent command of English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
§ Flexibility in time and ability to work under stress
§ Excellent computer skills with good command in working with online tools (ex., Zoom, Teams, Google Forms, drives, and related cloud services)
§ Ability and willingness to learn and cope with new technologies and troubleshoot for innovative solutions
§ Good personal relationship skills and ability to work with groups from different backgrounds
