Background

Life Makers Foundation is an Egyptian registered National youth-led, voluntary and non-governmental organization (Reg. Number 839). Since its establishment in 2011, LMF worked on youth development to build their capacities to develop societies and respond to humanitarian needs and disasters. It works directly and together along with partner organizations in 24 Egyptian governorates in youth development, education, health, livelihood, food security and basic needs sectors.

Job Description


Overview:

I need to Hire IT Help Desk to provide technical support to maintain the organization’s computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity. 

        

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Sohag branch and some activities outside the branch if necessary
  • Help other staff members troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Resolving network and Monitoring internet
  • Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Running reports to analyze common complaints and problem
  • Prepare Laptops/Desktop for new hires (installing windows and Drivers) and Email setup
  • Monitoring Backup Jobs.
  • Maintain the daily performance of computer systems.
  • Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other technical tools and products.
  • Assist with on-boarding of new users.
  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
  • Setup and support camera system
  • Negotiate and administer vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements
  • Practice asset management for I.T. hardware and software/licenses
  • Work with technology vendors to investigate and implement new technologies and techniques
  • Work with a help desk ticketing system to log and track support requests

·       Provide hardware, software, and all front-end technical support for internal users.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software applications in multiple operating system environments.

·       Respond to and resolve helpdesk via telephony, email, ticket portal emails, calls, and voicemails in a timely manner.

·       Manage the service ticket queue, prioritize requests and perform work to meet or exceed user expectations and deadlines.

·       Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.

·       Set up user accounts, permissions, mailboxes, groups, Users applications, and other server administration items

·       Configure and troubleshoot hardware as necessary (computers, printers, mobile phones, networking, wiring, etc.).

·       Configure and remotely support mobile devices

·        perform routine and preventative maintenance on printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, and other equipment.

·       Maintain positive and effective working relationships with numerous departments and employees.

·       Testing new technology and organizing cables and testing the passive network

·       Suggest new work processes to maintain a smooth workflow.

Skills

  • Ability to Maintain Laptops and Printers.
  • Good Knowledge in LAN and WAN Administration.
  • Good Knowledge in Domain Network Administration, Users Permissions, Profiles, DHCP, and DNS
  • Know how to research the problem and come up with a solution.
  • Travel availability inside Egypt
  • Experience with antivirus desktop security products, and common support tools and applications.

·       Ability to solve inquiries/issues remotely for our branches/booths/offices outside the company premises or personally if necessary

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or its equivalent
  • Experience 1-2 years’ minimum
